We are able to help meet the basic needs of our neighbors through our variety of services and programs in the areas of: food and hygiene, shelter (rent and utility assistance), clothing, obtaining prescriptions, transportation to medical services, and pet food.

You can come into our office during our operating hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, to receive assistance.

Typically, food, diapers, and pet food boxes are available for pick up once a month. Hygiene supply boxes are available for pick up every other month. If you need additional assistance, please contact our office.

Helping Hand of Hope accepts clothing or furniture donations, but you must call and schedule a time for drop off. We offer a table outside of our office and items placed on the table are free and available on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot guarantee the contents of the table for each day.

Please call ahead before donating your items to coordinate with our staff.

Affordable Christmas gives parents the opportunity to shop for new items for their children at a discounted rate. Check our list of current donation items on our services page.

First, fill out our volunteer application (either in-person or on our website). Pick your interests–tell us where your skills would be best utilized! Then, our staff will be in touch with you to explain the next steps.

Volunteers can serve regularly in our front office or our food pantry. We also have volunteer events such as volunteering at Memorial Methodist. During Christmas time, volunteers can help with Affordable Christmas. Contact our staff to learn more!

If you are under 18, then you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please call ahead to confirm that your child is able to volunteer.
